We are pleased to announce the full completion of the clubhouse redevelopment phase 2 works at Station Road.

We are pleased to announce the full completion of the clubhouse redevelopment phase 2 works at Station Road. We once again teamed up with well-respected local contractor and club sponsor Hobday Solutions Limited to deliver the works.

The recent works delivered a modernised men's toilet facility - providing additional capacity for members, guests and visitors.

David Hobday, Director of Hobday Solutions Limited, commented:
“It’s been a rewarding project to deliver and we’re proud once again to help the club deliver on its ambitions for the future. We look forward to working with the club on future projects."

Adam Harrison, Club Secretary, explained further:
“I would like to thank David and his team for their hard work and dedication over the past few months. We are really proud of the finished works.”

This project was only possible due to the club securing funding from the Birmingham Airport Community Trust, ECB County Grants, a donation from the EH Smith Charitable Trust and fundraising from dedicated club volunteers.

  • The project builds on the improvements made during 2023, which included: -
  • A modern galley-style kitchen area.
  • An expanded clubhouse lounge area.
  • Modernised ladies’ toilet area.
  • New windows and doors - helping to reduce energy consumption.
  • Upgrades to heating, electrical, phone and Wifi systems.

The 2023 works were supported by club sponsors The Window Centre, Acorn Floors and Insulation Contracting Services.

The club is also running a £1k fundraising draw on Saturday 13th April. Tickets are £10 each and you find out all the information here. The £1K draw aims to support a further redevelopment phase, helping to upgrade our security systems.
