James joined K&DCC in 2021 from Walsall CC and has thrived as a wicketkeeper/batter. James scored over 500 runs in 2022 including a thrilling 148 not out against the eventual champions Smethwick CC. James was also an integral part of the 1st XI side that finished 2nd in the BDPCL Premier League in 2023.

James explained: -
“It’s a privilege to be captain of such a great club and an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. Winning the league is a feeling I’ve only had once before and coming so close last year has only motivated me more. We’ve got a great group of experienced players and personnel behind the scenes and together we will push to go one step further in 2024. TMH.”
