K&DCC juniors have continued high levels of representation in the latest Warwickshire CCC Academy and Emerging player announcements.

Omaris Khan, Isaac Maddy and Hamza Khan Jr have all been selected onto the county’s Emerging Player Programme with the goal to follow in the footsteps of former K&D juniors & Warwickshire CCC Academy graduates Hamza Shaikh and Amir Khan. Both players have graduated from the academy into the club’s full-time staff.

Hamza Shaikh is currently representing England U19s on the back of an impressive summer playing in the counties Metro Bank 50 over team. Hamza just this week scored 126 for England against Bangladesh U19s.

Head of Junior cricket David Smith commented.
“We are all exceptionally proud of Omaris, Issac and Hamza. I know how dedicated to the game the boys are and to see them rewarded with selection for the Emerging Player Programme is testimony to that hard work and dedication.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate every boy and girl who has been selected for a County Age Group programme this winter”.
