Blake ply’s his trade as a left arm chinamen bowler and right handed batsman. He has played all three formats for Canterbury and has also represented a New Zealand XI in December 2018 against the Sri Lankan tourists taking 5 wickets in the match. Blake has best first class bowling figures of 7-64.

Blake continues the Kiwi overseas theme at Knowle & Dorridge C.C. replacing record breaker George Worker for the 2019 season.

Cricket Chairman David Smith was delighted with the signing of Blake and had the following to say. “We have been working very hard to secure a spinner of the calibre and Blake during the off-season. Blake will not only add huge value on the field but will also coach our junior cricketers and comes with a fantastic reputation as a great guy who will enhance the playing group off the field. Signing Blake will once again provide the club with another excellent chance to compete for the BDPCL title in 2019."

Blake will be available for the full season and will arrive early in April.
