About Us

Founded in 1896, Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club (K&DCC) are one of the foremost clubs in the Midlands.

We are situated between the ‘villages’ of Knowle and Dorridge on Station Road, Dorridge, Solihull, West Midlands, and the second ground is situated on Lugtrout Lane, Solihull. Club Colours are Green and Gold and the club emblem is the Bear and Ragged Staff.

Club priorities are to increase adult participation, improve community engagement, support junior development and improve our infrastructure.

Senior Men's 1st XI play in the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League - Premier Division. Our 2nd XI play in Warwickshire County Cricket League Division 1, 3rd XI in Warwickshire County Cricket League Division 5 and 4th XI in Warwickshire County Cricket League Division 8 (Birmingham).

We have an expanding Women and Girls programme. Teams play in the West Midlands' Women's Cricket League, the National Club T20 (U19) and the Warwickshire League (U15, U13 and U11).

We also have one of the strongest junior programmes in Warwickshire, with 24 junior teams playing regularly. We also host a Super 1s Hub, working with The Lord's Taverners and Warwickshire Cricket Board.

We have a strong community presence and the club is open all year round. We are included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2024 and we have Cask Marque status.
